Legal Secretary Floater - Denver. Description: We currently have an opening for a part-time Legal Secretary Floater in the Denver office. This position will work 2 days per week only. Benefits are not eligible for this position.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Downtown law firm seeks front desk person to answer phones, greet clients, and to work closely with legal secretaries and paralegals on special projects.  This will be a busy desk with much responsibility attached.  The ideal candidate will have some law firm experience, will possess excellent computer skills, have a good phone presence and be eager to learn.  Paralegal students will find this an excellent opportunity to learn the workings of a law firm while they are still studying.  Client may consider a temp-to-hire arrangement.  Salary DOE.

 

Legal Secretary – Litigation

Medium sized downtown law firm seeks legal secretary to support partner and potentially associate attorneys in the areas of litigation and construction defect litigation (defense).  Candidates should be very experienced with litigation -- state and federal, e-filing, and calendaring.  Candidates should also be proficient with MS Word, possess working knowledge of Summation, and have excellent multi-tasking skills.  Very close attention to detail is required in this position.   Environment is fast-paced and the firm environment is very friendly.  Salary is DOE with excellent benefits.  

 

Legal Assistant – Workers’ Compensation

Tech center law firm is seeking an experienced workers’ compensation legal assistant with a minimum of 1 year defense experience – will consider candidates who have worked on the claimant side.  Candidates should be proficient with MS Word, be organized and detail oriented.  Effective communication skills are necessary.  Will work with a team of paralegals and attorneys on a very large, busy caseload.  Close attention to detail and experience with calendaring and scheduling are a must.  Competitive salary and benefits.

Downtown law firm is seeking a full time paralegal with significant experience in HOA lien foreclosures, covenant enforcement and collections.  Must be very organized, possess excellent communication skills and be able to function independently and manage a very fast-paced, busy workload.  Competitive salary and benefits.

Legal Assistant – Litigation

Small non-profit Christian organization seeks an experienced litigation legal assistant to support their legal department.   The position is located in the southeast area.  A college degree is preferred. Client prefers someone with extensive litigation, trial and trial preparation experience – preferably 5+years.  Experience with discovery, deposition preparation and summarization, and research also preferred.  This is a small office environment and the candidate selected will be required to wear several “hats”.  There will be some office management and paralegal duties attached to this position.  This will be a temp-to-hire position and the compensation will be hourly until completion of the temp-to-hire arrangement (approximately 3 months).  Candidates should be organized, have a “can do” attitude, and a strong belief in the organization.

 

Associate Attorney

Our client is a medium sized downtown Denver law firm.  They are currently looking for an experience associate attorney to work in the areas of business, real estate, commercial lending and litigation.  Candidates should possess at least five years’ experience in commercial real estate and banking litigation or transactions.  Excellent academic credentials, strong work ethic, and superior writing skills are also required.   Please forward a resume along with a writing sample for consideration.

Associate attorneys needed for plaintiffs’ law firm.  Looking for candidates who have experience practicing in the area of personal injury. Cases may include:  motor vehicle collisions, premise liability, products liability.  Will be responsible for handling matters of moderate to great complexity and/or exposure, and initially may be assisting senior attorneys with their current case load.  Work will include preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, attendance at hearings, conferences, interviews, trials or arbitrations, and performance of any other tasks or duties necessary for the proper representation of clients.   

Candidates should possess:

Current license to practice in Colorado.

3-5 years of litigation experience including attendance at hearings, conferences, interviews, trials or arbitrations

Experience with an insurance company and/or defense firm would be a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a large firm environment

Strong editing/document review skills preferred
